Meeting to discuss study proposals related to ESA and CESA listed fish.

Meeting with a goal of finalizing the following study proposals:  1) Special-Status Amphibians - FYLF Surveys; 2) Stream Fish Populations above Englebright Dam; 3) Water Quality; and 4) if time permits, Reservoir Fish Populations.

This will be a conference call to specifically discuss the Aquatic Macroinvrtebrates and Mollusks study proposals.  The call-in number and password are (888) 354-0094 and 2478772, respectively.

This meeting has two main agenda items.  The first is process - specifically process related to reviewing, and to the extent possible coming to agreement on, study proposals.  As agreed, Licensee has attached to this email a matrix showing for each of Licensee’s study proposal, a column showing if Licensee feels we are “close” to agreement on the study (i.e., with a relatively small amount of effort, Licensee and Relicensing Participants might come to full agreement on the study – this does not mean that there are no disagreements at this time), and a column that Relicensing Participants can complete at the September 8 meeting to indicate if it would be particularly useful if the study began in 2011.   We can use the matrix, once completed, to prioritize our discussion of study proposals.  We can also discuss other aspects of process and schedule.  In particular, Licensee would like to select periodic meeting dates in 2011.  So, please bring your calendars to the meeting.  As agreed at the August 11 meeting, we will specifically discuss the Entrainment Study Proposal after the process discussion.
